If you call someone who’s BIPOLAR, A CUTTER, BULIMIC, ANOREXIC, SUICIDAL or any DISORDER an attention seeker then you must be an idiot, OF COURSE they’re attention seekers, THEY SEEK FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO HOPEFULLY HELP THEM OUT. Why else would they say it?!?! You could help them rather than insult them. ITS ALL THEY NEED. Someone to help them, thats why they are SEEKING your ATTENTION.

BULIMIA
I was that girl, the one people called fat. The one where people would shout “it’s getting tighter in here” when I get in the room. The one where people would pretend there was an earthquake when I ran. The one people would make oink noises too when I walk by. The one people would randomly walk up to and shout fat too. The one people would sing “Body Language” too but in a mocking and insulting way. The one people would shout “PIG” too when I pass by their classroom. I was that girl. The bullied one. NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE should be bullied to the limits of illness or suicidal attempts. I NEVER bully for fun, but those who bullied me? They did it for entertainment, for fun. I know that because the people who bullied me told me that, but you know what? The thing my bullies didn’t know is what trauma they put me through, what effects it gave and I’m here to tell those who take the time to read this, thank you by the way. I REALLY appreciate it, so what are these effects you may ask? Well, Im Myka Corro and I’m currently suffering from Bulimia, I’m not like those who are supppeerrr skinny and scary to look at but I am one none the less. Im afraid of gaining weight. I cant stop thinking about the pounds I gain when I eat but I eat either way so my mom wont have to find out, but when the plates are cleared and I’m alone in my room. I close the bathroom door, turn the music up really loud and spend hours head down on the toilet. Aside from Bulimia I have Peptic Ulcer, I have a hole in stomach due to acids boiling up inside. Why? Because I don’t eat. Besides being Bulimic and having Peptic Ulcer, Im bipolar. Okay so my psychiatrist says this could also be from genetics since my dad is bipolar too, but she’s the only one who really knows what I went through and understands, people I know in person at least. She knows that genetics only make a small part of it, but she says it’s mainly cause of my low self esteem which she thinks happened on my 2nd year of high school. When the bullying took its toll. I was a major wreck, I cried myself to sleep ever so often that even if the day didn’t seem so bad, it seemed like a ritual to cry myself to sleep. Out of all the things I got due to bullying, I say having a low self esteem is the worst. Every time I look at the mirror, I hate what I see. I feel like I’m all alone because of my body and my face. I feel like I’m an unacceptable human being.
So to all those who bully, please STOP. You’ll never know what the consequences are, you’ll never know how much pain you’ve caused someone and to those being bullied, to those whose probably doing what I’m doing. STOP. I know, who am I to say when I myself haven’t, but I’m trying. I know how hard it is. People say I’m crazy, my own friends say I have an attitude problem, my own friends stab me in the back about it. People call me an attention seeker or a desperate case, thats cause we all have different pains, but you know what? It gets better. Especially if you have that one person whose always there. Like how I have MALI, my true bestfriend. She’s never thought I had an attitude problem or that I was crazy. She knows how hurt I am, how insecure I am. She understands why I act the way I act and she helps me stop. She’s ALWAYS looking after me. So to those people out there whose going through what I’ve gone through and doing what I’ve been doing. Dont wait for the doctor to say you have Peptic Ulcer, dont wait for the psychiatrist to start recommending pills, dont wait to be standing on the roof almost every night thinking if I should take that one step, dont wait ‘til your veins get swollen from those scissors. Dont wait til you’re starting to end up like me. CHANGE. If I read a post like this and I had the chance, I wouldve been really lucky to be able to save myself. So please, PLEASE. Share this, get the word out. YOU COULD SAVE A SOUL.
